Who we are
CADS Alberta is the provincial division of Canadian Adaptive Snowsports (CADS)
A volunteer based organization having as it’s main objective, assisting individuals with a disability to lead richer and fuller lives through active participation in recreational and competitive snow skiing and snowboarding.
CADS Alberta celebrated it’s 50th anniversary in 2021, and given a lost season on-snow this past winter, we will continue to celebrate our anniversary as we head into our 2024-25 on-snow season.
CADS Alberta has touched thousands of individuals, both on and off the slopes in its 54 year history.

Our Partners
The CADS Alberta community is based on the support of volunteers who dedicate a great deal of their personal time to a deserving, fun and energetic group of participants throughout the province. The ability to provide high quality program delivery cannot occur without the support of many stakeholders and partners who make CADS Alberta a longstanding organization.
Our core funding partner, as a Provincial Sport Organization in Alberta is the Government of Alberta, through Sport and Recreation (SPAR).
Key supporting organizations such as the Canadian Snowsport Association, the Alberta Alpine Ski Association, the Alberta Snowboard Association, and numerous other local, regional, provincial and national groups ensure a continued delivery of volunteer driven programming.
In addition to such organizations, CADS Alberta is also supported through many private funders, as well as key funding partners provided on the pull down menu under stakeholders.
